Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist to join our primary healthcare center. The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions, providing expert medical advice, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough history taking and physical examination of patients to diagnose and treat various conditions.

2. Review medication reconciliation and develop individualized treatment plans for patients, which may include prescribing medications and providing patient education.

3. Interpret results from diagnostic tests such as ECG, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other imaging procedures.

4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as other specialties, nurses, and midwifes, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.

5. Attend all training and development activities requested by Amel Health department.

6. Educate patients / family on proper lifestyle changes and screening measures with taking into consideration their literacy level.

7. Use of Phenics software to accurately document medical records for all patient encounters.

8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the primary healthcare center.

9. Working at Saida – PHCC one day per week each month.  

Qualifications:

1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school

2. Specialty degree in Cardiology from an accredited medical school.

3. LOP medical license and specialty registration.

4. Strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.

6. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date on best practices.
