The Opportunity
IT Officer is mainly responsible for the management of the IT team and the management of the running system. The tasks includes aligning the technologies used with the organization’s international standards. This requires skills and responsibilities in planning, budgeting, designing installing implementing, maintaining and monitoring these technologies to keep it on the highest level for a perfect user experience.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
In order to be successful you will bring/have:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or any other related field.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
- Two to three years of experience in IT support.
- Expertise in Microsoft system management: managing servers, implementing, and installing new servers and services.
- Linux Operating systems setup and management
- Cloud Computing (Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine and AWS)
- Network Security Management: Ensuring a full-time management and control of the network and data under SCI network in terms of virus, intrusion and attack protection.
- Advanced experience in monitoring and control systems: Implementing a fully connected CCTV and lock control system all over the offices.
- Advanced experience in data management: creating data schemes, applying access distribution, maintaining data, and protecting in terms of backups.
- Advanced skills in system migration: capabilities and skills in migrating all the environment to new standards.
- Experience with Microsoft software like Exchange, Active Directory, and Server platforms.
- Skills in Network Management: Subnet-Ing, Distribution, Routing, Nat-ting, Etc.
