The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a “Project Coordinator” for “Upscaling Shelter, Food Security, Protection, and GBV services to extremely vulnerable individuals in North-Lebanon and Akkar” Project.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the overall project in its different components: Shelter, WASH, Food Security, Protection, and GBV. The Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the project, securing the quality implementation of RMF related strategies and policies, representing RMF in relevant working groups and task force, liaising with other RMF project coordinators to ensure comprehensive and coherent response for refugees’ and host communities’ needs.

Major Responsibilities: 
•    Ensure that all interventions are in compliance with RMF strategies and policies.
•    Provide strategic direction, leadership and overall technical and management support to the project’s team members;
•    Lead the implementation of the project activities, foster efficiencies, increase impact and favors integrated approaches with RMF programs;
•    Supervise and provide technical support to the team to implement activities to a high quality standard;
•    In collaboration with the Project Manager, ensure smooth management of project work and accurate reporting in accordance with RMF and donor regulations;
•    Review progress in achieving project objectives and targets in collaboration with the Project Manager;
•    Liaise with the M&E Department to ensure that the output and impact data are captured and used to optimize program quality and identify efficiencies;
•    Undertake regular field monitoring visits to assess progress and identify technical quality issues and/or other implementation issues, provide solutions and implement modifications as required;
•    Supervise and provide technical support to the team in the implementation of CP and GBV activities in accordance with international child protection and GBV standards; 
•    Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated programming approaches that serve the needs of beneficiaries across the range of sectors in which the RMF operates;
•    Represent RMF at related coordination meetings, ensuring proper dissemination of information among relevant partners, donors and relevant government institutions;
•    Support organizing and facilitating field visits for partners, donors and others interested in RMF related projects; and,
•    Adhere to and act in accordance with RMF Policies and Procedures.

Professional Standards:
All RMF staff are required to adhere to the RMF policies and practices with respect to child protection minimum standards, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:
•    Postgraduate degree in Social Work or similar relevant social science;
•    Minimum 5 years of professional technical experience in implementing similar projects;
•    Strong strategic thinking and report writing skills;
•    Strong leadership, program, and staff management and capacity building skills;
•    Experience in working in group;
•    Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player.
•    Ability to productively work under pressure while maintaining a sense of humor;
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time;
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
•    Ability to manage and work through change in a proactive and positive manner;
•    Previous experience in managing CP related projects; and
•    Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
