Description:
- Screening and Assessment
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify intervention objectives
- Refer children to other specialists accordingly
- Intervention and Support
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide individual therapy sessions to children as needed
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
- Coordination and Collaboration
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s support.
- Provide caregivers and teachers with evidence-based strategies and tools for accommodating specific needs
- Support teachers with designing Individualized Education Plans as needed
- Participate in regular meetings with AVSI project team to report on progress and challenges.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the caregivers and Equity and Inclusion Specialist on objectives of intervention, outcomes, and recommendations.
