PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANIZATION
SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian NGO which, for more than 40 years, has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters by meeting their vital needs for food, water and shelter. Particularly involved in the fight against diseases linked to unsafe water, the first cause of death in the world, SI's interventions provide expertise in the field of access to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, but also in the essential area of food security and livelihoods. Present in around twenty countries, SI's teams - 2000 people in total made up of expatriates, national staff, permanent staff at headquarters, and a few volunteers - work with professionalism and commitment while respecting cultures.
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
General objective: The Regional Supply Chain Coordinator coordinates with the Country Coordinator the design and implementation of logistics and supply chain procedures and tools; enhances effectiveness and compliance of the logistics and supply chain activities. He/She participates in the development of the regional logistics and supply chain strategy. He/She provides remote support to countries within portfolio and on-site support to country activities and have a functional management line with the Country Coordinator. He/She is expected to travel up to 50% of the time outside of duty station.
The main challenges:
Priorities for the 2/3 first months:
1- Participate in the development and implementation of the logistics and supply chain strategy at regional level.
2- To supervise all hulo implemented initiatives with specific attention to joint procurement initiatives (JPI).
3- Support technically and operationally the country activities for improvement, effectiveness and compliance
4- Build the capacities of relevant work teams and conduct proper training according to the needs.

PROFILE NEEDED
Studies: Bachelor Degree
Experience: Five+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management in humanitarian contexts.
Language : Arabic and English are essential, French is a plus
IT : Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerBI

A salaried post : 3,090 USD as basic salary
Vacation : 1.75 paid leave per month
