Job Description: The Programme Officer’s main duty is planning, implementing and completing programmes within the specified time and budget frame with excellent execution. Duties include the acquisition of resources and coordination with the team, partners, and consultants in accordance with the agreed plan. The Programme Officer also ensures that all project objectives are accomplished and assumes the role of “quality controller” throughout all phases of implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the Programme Manager on coordinating the programme’s activities and ensure constant communication and reporting.  
  • To monitor Programmes implementation and this include:

o To participate in the preparation of logistical documents such as agreements, invoices, receipts, etc. according to the template provided by Ettijahat.

o To monthly review of Ettijahat's equipment inventory under the supervision of the Programme Manager.

o To attend trainings three days a week from 17:00 to 21:30, including verifying the attendance of trainers and trainees and ensuring that technical preparations for each training are completed.

o To coordinating transportation, if needed. o Ensuring that the training room is functional on a daily basis, including: food, cleanliness, equipment, … etc.

o To coordinate with instructors prior to each training day on training needs and assist in providing presentations, printouts/scripts or additional training materials if requested by instructors.

 o To coordinate internship placements in coordination with the Programme Manager and trainers.

  • To produce monthly and quarterly internal, narrative, and financial reports and development-oriented reports for funders and partners.
  • To communicate with cultural institutions, venues, individuals, and entities that may be affiliated to the programmes, inside and outside Lebanon, according to the Programmes’ criteria.
  • To manage the budget of the Programmes and their financial reports with the support of the programme manager.
  • To follow up all matters related to beneficiaries, trainers, and programmes partners and work closely with them during the implementation of the activities and later during evaluation.
  • To maintain effective, positive, and continuous communication with partners, funders, beneficiaries and employees of the organization.
  • To participate in the implementation, follow-up, and evaluation of the organisation’s work.
  • To cooperate with the communications manager and the programmes manager for the promotion of Ettijahat reaching its marketing objectives, and maintaining the continuously updated information exchange.
  • To participate in all workshops, forums, and conferences held by Ettijahat and external events in which the organization would like to participate.
