GBV Caseworker

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support and care for adult survivors of GBV and age-appropriate specialized support and care for adolescent, male and girl child survivors of GBV, including counseling and case management.
* Follow GBV guiding principles of respect, confidentiality, and safety/security and non- discrimination while providing services.
* Case management will include:
- Assessment of needs.
- Developing an action plan.
- Implementing the plan.
- Appropriate following Case closure (if and when appropriate).
- Close follow up and consultation with the protection officer.
* Monitoring & Reporting:
- Ensure all documentations on reported cases and referrals made are updated, accurate, organized and well maintained by case workers.
- Participate in weekly internal meetings and monthly team meetings to ensure adherence to standards of appropriate case management.
- Collect and manage data safely and ethically.
- Ensure proper documentation of reported GBV incidents.

* Safeguarding Requirement:
- Integrate safeguarding principles and protocols into all project activities and interactions.
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment that respects the rights and dignity of all individuals, particularly vulnerable populations.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to safeguarding concerns or incidents, following established protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree in Social Work or related fields (BA or Masters).
- Previous experience working with GBV survivors (2-3 years of experience in GBV case management).
- Previous NGO experience.
- Adheres to ethical considerations and principles in regards to working with vulnerable populations.
- Ability to handle confidential matters, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and ensuring the well-being of project beneficiaries.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural settings and with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Good Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Good report writing skills and attention to details.
