Duty Station/Location: Fraternity Centers
Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
Project Duration: 31st of Dec. 2024 renewable based on performance and availability of fund.
This position is under the project titled STEP: Skills Training and Empowerment for Palestinian Youth, which is led by Right To Play – Lebanon in partnership with UNICEF – Palestinian Programme.
STEP Project: The Skills Training and Empowerment for Palestinian Youth – STEP is contributing to building adolescents and youth skills and education that are relevant to the new market opportunities through a play-based life skills, career guidance, job readiness, and employability package.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will be under the direct technical supervision of the Director of the association. The incumbent will be working as a full-time employee and will be responsible to:
Activity Planning and Implementation
- Manage the implementation of all activities according to the work plan and the budget
- Ensure that the implementation of the work plan is consistent with the outputs and objectives of the project
- Resolve and communicate bottlenecks and challenges with direct supervisor and/or Right To Play Project Coordinators when needed.
Coordination and Management
- Maintain close coordination with different departments to ensure the proper and timely implementation of activities as per donor requirements
- Prepare and facilitate field visits for HQ staff, donors, and foreign visitors and ensure the safety and security on the field
- Identify cases for referral to MHPSS services or case management
- Participate in coordination meetings with Right To Play and Right To Play partners regularly
- Assesses training needs of field workers and volunteers to be communicated with the CSO or Right to Play Project Coordinators when applicable
Monitoring and Reporting
- Maintain coordination with the field worker and volunteers through regular meetings and regular field visits to assess progress and challenges and provide support where and as needed
- Prepare progress reports and quarterly reports on the different activities to be submitted to the Project Coordinators at Right To Play
- Validate data with the field workers to be shared with Project Coordinators at Right To Play
- Conduct FGDs with beneficiaries at the end of each activity for evaluation and learning and prepare reports to be shared with Project Coordinators at Right To Play
Qualifications:
- Vocational or bachelor’s degree, in Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, Psychology, Counseling, Education, or any related field
- At least three years of cumulative experience in fieldwork and project coordination and implementation
- Experience in working in Palestinian Refugee Camps and/or Gatherings is a must
- Previous experience in fieldwork with adolescents and youth is a must
- Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic
- Good computer skills (Microsoft, Google Workplace, surveys)
- Salary Range: 800 $ per month
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic is required

- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Has a character and profile that is able to lead a team, and inspire and motivate youth.
- Ability to deliver information to different age groups.
- Excellent team player.
- Able to work under stress.
- Enthusiastic and looks for continuous self-development.
- Has desire for transmitting knowledge and experience to youth to build their capacities.
