Description: 
  • Modifies software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
  • Tests the system and applications and documents the modifications.
  • Works with departments managers on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
  • Analyzes information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
  • Coordinates with computer engineers to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
  • Designs and develops software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
  • Submits reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
  • Research & implement new applications and services to improve the IT environment and to ensure it is kept up to date with the recent technological changes.
  • Maintains the privacy and confidentiality of work and any information he obtains through his job.
