Grants and Program Manager
Description:
Tasks:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities relevant to the NGO's mission and objectives.
- Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals and applications in collaboration with the NGO’s team.
- Establish and maintain relationships with funding organizations, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Monitor and report on the progress of funded programs, ensuring compliance with grantor guidelines and objectives.
- Coordinate with different departments within the NGO to effectively manage and implement programs funded by grants.
- Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports for funders.
- Evaluate the impact of programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on trends and changes in grant funding and NGO sector practices.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on grant application processes and best practices.
- Represent the NGO in various stakeholder meetings and networking events.
Responsibilities:
- Degree in business administration or equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Budgeting and accounting experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of auditing policies.
- Knowledge of donor agencies.
- Strong writing skills.
