Job Description: We looking to hire dedicated volunteers to provide online psychotherapy support to individuals residing in Syria, particularly those affected by psychological trauma caused by the recent earthquake and ongoing crises.

The Volunteer Therapist will be responsible for delivering online therapy services to individuals impacted by the situation in Syria.

Educational Requirements/Skills:

• Hold at least a master's degree in clinical psychology or pending the completion of a thesis in clinical psychology.
• Ideally enrolled in or have commenced a psychotherapy training course.
• Possession of a psychology license from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience working with specific populations (Children, Adolescents, Adults).

Other Requirements:

• The role requires individuals who are empathetic, dedicated to providing support to individuals experiencing trauma, and committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in the field of mental health.
• Availability to dedicate a specified number of hours per week for pro-bono therapy sessions.
• Commitment to specific days and times for therapy sessions (45-minute duration per session).
• Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and organizational management.
• Participate in group meetings to discuss cases, seek guidance, and share experiences with supervisors.
• Adhere to all organizational procedures, guidelines, and decisions.
• Follow safety protocols in delivering online therapy services.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards in the mental health field and legislation during service delivery.
