Description: 

Coordinate the development of proposals, bringing together partners and UNRWA staff to identify needs and appropriate actions and resources to respond to these; lead negotiations with partners, including on budgets. Lead development of Memorandums of Understanding with partners, coordinating closely with technical staff and UNRWA's legal team. Support partners to develop project implementation timelines, and monitor this closely. Oversee project adjustments and modifications when necessary and ensure compliance with UNRWA and donor requirements Monitor gender and diversity mainstreaming across the projects Check partner narrative and financial reports on a regular basis; monitor partner expenditure and raise issues identified as soon as possible. Connect the partner with appropriate individuals within UNRWA as requested. Provide capacity building to partners on mutually agreed areas as appropriate Ensure partners regularly report on activities in required formats on the agreed frequency Conduct field visits to monitor sound implementation of project activities as requested Coordinate with the partner and UNRWA's Communications Unit to ensure clearance and publishing of project communication materials in line with UNRWA and donor guidelines Lead narrative reporting for UNRWA and any reprogramming requests. Work with Partnership coordinator to develop proposal and reporting frameworks and any other guidelines for partners Support the partnership coordinator and Protection team in any other way required.
