The Animated Storytelling program aims to provide participants with the space, mentorship, and technical know-how needed in order to create their own animated productions and increase their chances of securing jobs in the field.

The goal is to establish a local community of animation artists with the skills to create and produce animated films, videos, cartoons, and others.

The marketing and communication specialist will develop a comprehensive social media strategy to be implemented to increase our web traffic and brand awareness for the Animated Storytelling Program campaign.

Tasks and responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement a social media strategy, consistent with the organization’s identity.
    2. Establish our online presence, create awareness and encourage greater social media participation.
    3. Launch open call campaign on all social media platforms and help reach and engage a wide audience across Lebanon.
    4. Develop and manage social influencer programs.
    5. Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate Happinest’s social media presence and performance.
    6. Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs.

 

Required qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • BA in communication, or any related field. Master’s is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field of communication / social media, preferably with a focus on social campaigning
  • Fluent in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Good research skills
  • Imaginative and strategic
  • Methodological
  • Very good organizational and time management skills, proactive
  • Interest and knowledge in campaigning and advocating for cultural and artistic programs
