SET is looking for a full-time Procurement Officer responsible for:
- Source – research potential vendors
- Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
- Draft procurement policies and procedures
- Draft RFPs – identify needs & requirements, related budget and deadlines
- Conduct market research – explore vendors’ offerings and evaluate prospective suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers and select final vendors
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased
- Negotiate terms and conditions with selected vendor(s)
- Monitor suppliers’ performance
- Initiate and keep track of orders
- Prepare comparative analysis between various suppliers / contractors
- Prepare budgets, and cost analyses
Qualified candidates need a degree in accounting, business management, or a similar field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
Location: Mar Mikhael, Beirut
