Making complex concepts accessible and actionable to a wide audience by developing
strategies for creating key messages, fact sheets, social media posts, and creative digital
materials to Promote Nazra’s Massages
Building strong relationships with top-tier media outlets so that our clients’ efforts
receive the best coverage for advancing their goals
Elevating the voice and expertise of high-level influencers by polishing opinion pieces at
key moments, prepping them for interviews, and providing ongoing counsel
Leveraging trends in media coverage, key announcements, new evidence, and high-level
conversations to further strategies that work on behalf of client interests
When needed, communicating Nazra's positions is one of the main issues that the
organization is working
Drafting statements, positions papers, and letters that express the values and position of
Nazra in Arabic and English
Advocacy
Identifying strategic moments and new champions to influence target stakeholders and
amplify our clients’ goals
Getting partners on the same page through careful coordination, relationship
management, and message alignment
Getting partners, influencers, and decision-makers in the same place by overseeing high-
level events, including identifying invitees and speakers, and developing agendas or
presentations
Building new coalitions of support for an issue with dedicated outreach, organization, and
relationship management
Following and tracking trends in global feminism policies and funding opportunities to
continuously innovate on strategy
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in social sciences or a related field. Preferred in International human
rights law, and political science with a specialization in international relations public
policy, or gender.
Wide work experience in regard to Women’s Status and Women’s Issues in Egypt and
the MENA Region.
Good knowledge of Feminist and Gender issues as well as Feminist movements in Egypt
and the MENA Region.
Well updated by the essential development and changes on both Political and Legislative
levels in the MENA Region
Familiarity with different mechanisms and regulations for different regional and
international human rights, women, and gender mechanisms
Respecting women’s diverse identities, ethnics, backgrounds, and experiences
Fluent in Arabic and English languages (excellent verbal and written communication
skills), French is an addition
Ability to work independently and under the supervision of the Founder and the
Executive Director
Transparency, accountability, and commitment to evaluate and communicate the
advocacy work outcomes to meet Nazra’s goal and values.
