Key responsibilities:
1. Implements the decisions of the management board and submits regular reports on the progress of the institution’s work
2. Works on organizing, developing and documenting the management, administrative and financial functions of the institution
3. Drafts project proposals, networks with donor agencies and follows up on their implementation
4. Strengthens the relationship and builds partnerships between the institution and its different audience groups and its main stakeholders.
5. Participates in board meetings and contributes to its discussions and recommendations
Key qualifications:
1. At least 5 years of experience in the field of civil society organizations, programme management and evaluation.
2. Proven experience in writing and drafting project proposals and reports in donors systems
3. Strong track record of past performance in positions of leadership with ability to motivate and build trust with staff and external stakeholders
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills with fluency in English and in Arabic. French is an asset
5. Computer literacy, including knowledge of MS office applications and experience with the internet and email communications. Proficiency in use of social networking and new media tools.
6. The candidate must show proficiency in the following: Communication, Decision-Making, Problem-Solving, Analytical Abilities, Innovation and Creativity.
7. A Bachelor’s degree with a relevant specialization
8. Interest in Arabic Music
