ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

MEAL specific tasks

• Plan and follow up on the timeline of MEAL activities; collecting, cleaning, compiling, uploading; and systemizing information and data of each activity of the project; the job applicant should ensure that all field-data is collected in a timely and efficient manner while emphasizing on its accuracy and quality in parallel to its pertaining means of verification; 
• Accurately analyze and compile relevant data and information to measure the progress and impact of the projects’ activities pertaining to each indicator;
• Prepare and submit indicators’ progress on achievement as required;
• Assist with administrative and logistic requirements of the MEAL activities;
• Monitor the outreach awareness sessions regarding Covid-19 vaccines conducted in field through spot checks and visits; Follow up on archiving, documenting and coding all medical based information on vaccination process; Document and validate registration databases on the vaccination platform; Provide technical support and training for CHVs and OVs on coded tools to be used in field, if applicable; and Document all means of vaccination.
• Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative data collection through frequent visits to the program areas, by having focused and well-structured interviews with beneficiaries.
• Provide adequate assistance in the design, creation and implementation of different MEAL tools;
• Follow up with the program teams conducting program related surveys; the job holder is also requested to be conducting satisfaction evaluation surveys;
• Ensure that means of verification (MoVs) are available for all indicators compiled in an organized manner at the project site;
• Evaluate the project implementation by in depth analysis of results;

• Report immediately on achievements, difficulties or obstacles faced in the field to the Program Manager; Provide guidance and support to the project teams in digitizing data for all components of the project.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism while working or coordinating with beneficiaries, internal or external parties; any incident or work-related conflict should be immediately reported to the Program Manager.

• Represent MAMAN through attending necessary meetings and workshops;

Working Conditions

The Job Holder will be working from MAMAN office in Bekaa’s office.  2-3 times travel implementation areas will be required on a weekly basis.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

• This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience
• 2-3 years’ experience of creating, establishing and maintaining a MEAL framework
• High observational and analytical skills
• Proven data collection, data management, and data analysis experience
• Experience in using data software tools (Ona, ODK, SPSS, etc.) is a must
• Very good English and Arabic (spoken and written) is required
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently
• High time management skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to detail
• Excellent skills related to Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power point)
