Communication & Social Media Officer
DESCRIPTION:
Duties (under the supervision of the communication manager)
Running all organization’s communication tasks, including, but not limited to, website content, social media accounts, brochures, press releases, internal bulletins, posters
Formulating high-quality written and visual content, in three languages (Arabic, French, English), for each of the above-mentioned media channels
Establish and maintain contacts with traditional and electronic media outlets
Building a solid social media presence, including through relevant influencers
Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement
Research the latest digital tools and interactive trends
Run integrated and cost-effective digital strategies (from social media to email etc…)
Analyze and report on media campaigns
Creating social media posts and physical media products (banners, posters…), using appropriate software
Knowledge:
Diploma in communication or related major with 3-5-year experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Understanding of web analytics
Possess broad knowledge of best digital practices (including preferably video editing tools)
Experience in developing social media strategies and practices
Basic knowledge in graphic design principles and software (Photoshop and Illustrator)
Ability to measure the success of campaigns
Must be fluent in Arabic, English & French. Excellent writing skills in the three languages
