The Communications Manager will support LIFE communications and outreach, with the goal of enhancing the understanding and awareness of project activities, goals, and results among all stakeholders.Responsibilities

  • Assist Chief of Party and Directors of Financial Inclusion and Livelihoods in shaping messages of financial inclusion, microfinance policy, expansion of microfinance services, and enhanced livelihoods to diverse audiences and representing LIFE to Lebanese officials, stakeholders and the broader public, USAID, and U.S. Government officials and public.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with USAID officials as directed, responding to client requests promptly and professionally.
  • Develop communication strategies and products to reach vulnerable populations.
  • Collaborate with Director, Livelihoods and M&E Lead and prepares evidence-based reports, success stories, lessons learned, and other project marketing materials.
  • Lead development and management of LIFE project website and its content.
  • Manage external vendors in support of communications and marketing component objectives.
  • Develop innovative outreach initiatives and engage audiences through social media.
  • Assist COP in overseeing the application and enforcement of USAID branding and reporting requirements.
  • Provide quality assurance for client deliverables (performance reports, work plans, etc.)
  • Engage local partners to ensure high-quality outreach, events planning, and public relations.
  • Design, manage and deliver high quality events and ceremonies.
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary by the COP or Project Director.

Reporting

The Communications Manager will report directly to the Chief of Party.
