Job Description:
The program manager is responsible of the grants unit within LASeR organization. He isin charge of drafting strategies, following up on the execution, innovating new ways toexpand the work and impact of the division within the society.
Grant writing and development are important responsibilities of the program managerat as well, related to ensuring the future success of the program. Travel may berequired, local, regional or international, to meet with donors, oversee programimplementation or attend conferences related to the program. Regular interaction withupper management of the non-profit is expected in order to provide project updatesand report on the state of the program.
Job responsibilities
1. Draft the strategic plan for the intended program and the intended budget2. Preparing a schedule for the strategic plan to be implemented3. Responsible for ensuring that tasks are carried out as per plan so that eachactivity is carried out within the stipulated time4. Draft proposals for donors5. Responsible of the coordination between the upper management / main donorand the rest of the team / stakeholders6. Represent the organization at various forums and conferences and raiseawareness about their cause7. Create a portfolio for important connections in the field, cover them whetheronline, offline, visits, invitation8. Study the market trends, gaps and needs in order to draft and execute newprograms that are most beneficial to the targeted community9. Design the tools, systems and processes for the program he’s handling10. Oversee and continually improve the tools and systems to effectively andefficiently manage projects.11. Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluationto determine how well results were achieved
