Position Summary:
The admin & finance officer responsibility is to ensure that DAWLATY policies as well as donor regulations are strictly followed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Finance Management
1-    Review financial data (including financial reports and supporting documents) for accuracy2-    Provide overall grant management support, including maintaining fund balance records, managing funds flow between DAWLATY and the donor3-    Prepare financial report for each donor.4-    Manage grant and annual organizational audits5-    Support dawlaty team in budget preparation for donors.6-    Responsible for all payments required from the organization and maintains custody of the petty cash7-    Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited to bookkeeping, reconciliation and reporting.8-    Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports. Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances.9-    Control and follow all bank transactions and work on the bank statements and reconciliation
HR and Admin Management:
1-    Responsible for the implementation of systems and guidelines outlined in Dawlaty HR and Finance manuals2-    Advise on and ensure compliance with internal and donor regulations on day to day transactions3-    Follow up on different admin issues and logistics, including preparation for events, visitors and staff travel.4-    Prepare and follow all needed contracts for the Employees and any other service contracts.5-    Follow up all employee timesheets and leave requests, and ensure personnel files are up to date.6-    Maintain organizations’ administrative and financial files.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for NGOs.·      Strong analytical and accounting skills.·      Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for general ledger.·      Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.·      The individual will be expected to take ownership of his / her work product and show initiative. Should have excellent English, and good Arabic language skills
