Namlieh (https://www.facebook.com/Namlieh/) is now recruiting a manager to oversee and steer its work at the managerial, administrative and operational levels.
Background
Namlieh is a marketing cooperative formed in 2012 by nine mainly women-run cooperatives active in producing traditional “baladi mooneh” foodstuffs as well as other traditional crafts.
The main purpose of the Namlieh cooperative is to assist in marketing the products of its member organizations as well as provide its own new service products which will boost the work of its members and create new work opportunities for women in bothBeirut and rural areas.
The new manager is expected to help in running this social enterprise in a professional business like manner while capitalizing on its social background and contacts.
Tasks and responsibilities
Namlieh manager will be entrusted with the following responsibilities and will act to ensure the following:
Implement the main lines of the business operation based on the agreed business plans
The efficient running of the cooperative enterprise at the managerial, administrative and financial levels
High quality and health safety standards of business products and services
Reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Actively participate in the development of Namlieh as a women cooperative and a social enterprise
