Oxfam is supporting the Bekaa Water Establishment in the rehabilitation of their solar PV water pumping stations. Therefore, Oxfam is seeking a supplier/contractor to replace damaged components of the PV plants used for water pumping in North Bekaa (batteries of lead acid type, PV panels, contactors, electric relays, padlocks, valves, etc.)

This project seeks to create opportunities for collaboration and linkages between Local and Women grassroot organizations (LWGO) and the actors working in the humanitarian and stabilization sectors by facilitating access to relevant coordination mechanisms and platforms. Additionally, support will be provided to facilitate the engagement of targeted LWGOs with national institutions and decision-makers to ensure women’s priorities and demands are valued and responded to and actions are accounted for. Oxfam aims to hire an expert consultant/consultancy firm to design and deliver protection strategies aimed at enabling the Protection and Safeguarding of Gender Justice efforts, and to alleviate the pressure on organizations and groups facing such challenges. The program will provide support for the development and implementation of effective strategies to enhance safety and security, allowing them to continue their critical work.
