For: Trainers / consultants or a firm to deliver a 4 days face to face trainings on positive communication for 65 young women and men in Tripoli and its surrounding in Tripoli

This set of terms of reference is for an expert consultant/firm is to accompany and support the existing Network members (14 local CSOs from Tripoli and its surrounding) in the sustainability and the learning journey from December 2021 till February 2022, to do study visits in Lebanon for similar networks, to co-develop with the network members a sustainability plan along with clear ToR, governance and an action plan focused on ensuring that network members can ensure sustainability of the approach of working together focusing on EDI and Do No Harm.

The British Council is seeking to sign call down agreements with Four Hotels (4) Hotels in Beirut having rating of 4 stars and above to provide hotel accommodation, conferencing, and exams venue hiring services. The British Council in Lebanon would use the services of the selected hotels for any number of events and visits during contract period. The service must include : Accommodation in Single Rooms, Conference & Events ,Exams Venue Hiring (Computer Based and Paper Based) ensuring Security requirements must be at standard.

We are seeking to recruit a consultant or an entity to support the British Council Lebanon’s Arts and Culture Department and its partner ARTLAB with the design and implementation of a 5-days professional development workshop for 10 visual artists in February 2022.

For the past six years the British Council has been delivering a life skills development programme for
young people in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The programme, Taqaddam (meaning
“moving forward” in Arabic), uses a wide range of approaches, including large group workshops, school classes, online ‘missions’ and personal journaling, to motivate teenagers to identify, nurture and unleash their strengths, capabilities and potential.

We are seeking to recruit a consultant to support the British Council Lebanon’s Arts and Culture Department with the coordination, implementation, promotion and reporting of its activities, internally and externally, for a 4-month mission (December 2021 to March 2022).

Digital Media Arts for an inclusive Public Sphere (Digital MAPS) is a programme funded by the British Council, covering Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Syria, Yemen, and Tunisia. This programme aims to support organisations and content creators operating in the media, arts, and cultural sectors to develop strategies and content which promotes inclusivity and openness in the public sphere (المحيط العام) and in the virtual space (الفضاء الافتراضي) in particular.
