NRC Invitation to Bid: Provision of Solar Consultant Services

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee. We deliver high-quality aid where needs are greatest. Today, we work in both new and protracted crises across 30 countries, where we provide camp management, food assistance, clean water, shelter, legal aid, youth led initiative and education.
OVERVIEW
NRC Lebanon mission funded by KFW aims to significantly enhance access to adequate and sustainable housing solutions and community infrastructure for both host community and refugees residing in Arsal and QabElias areas in Bekaa.
To achieve this goal effectively, NRC is actively seeking a proficient solar consultant with substantial experience in design, supervision and construction management of solar initiatives. The Consultant is expected to undertake a detailed assessment to determine the feasibility for installation of centralized solar power systems and combination of systems, where applicable, in all the interventions within Arsal and QabElias (for schools, street lighting and solar pumping) where applicable. Based on the findings, the Consultant is also expected to develop the detailed design for all the interventions in the two villages accordingly.
The Contracts eligible for bidding are independent Companies for Solar Consultancy Services with minimum qualification and requirement listed in the Terms of Reference.

After submitting your question, you will receive an e-mail confirmation from eTB system.
NRC will reply to all registered bidders by March 14, 2025, 16:00
SUBMISSION PROCESS
Closing date for submitting the bids is March 18, 2025, at 11:00 (24hrs) Beirut Time.
All bids submitted after that date will be rejected.
Please submit your bid by uploading all files to the e-tender box web site (eTB).
