About Seenaryo

Working in Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine, Seenaryo uses theatre and play to support people to heal, lead and learn. We co-create performances with under-served communities, train future leaders and transform classrooms through play. Reaching 155,000 children, youth and women since 2015, Seenaryo won the Resilience in Action Award at HundrED 2024, the Arts, Culture & Heritage prize at the 2023 UK Charity Awards and was one of Expo 2020 Dubai’s 120 Global Innovators.
Objectives
We are seeking to hire a translator (individual or company), to translate all the documents developed under Seenaryo Lebnaon. It can be legal documents, it can be contracts, it can be reports , materials for training…
Scope of Work
Translation from English to Arabic in the best time possible, or vice versa. While maintaining the originality of the documentation and of the main language. To have ongoing communication with Seenaryo on a regular basis.
Minimum required Profile
- Certified translator and/or 3-5 years of experience in translation from English to Arabic.
- Excellent knowledge on the Arab context (particularly in Lebanon and Jordan), and preferably on topics related to theatre, arts, education, play-based learning, human rights, VAWG, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, youth engagement, peace building etc.
- Experience in translating documents on topics preferably related to youth engagement and life skills
- Excellent communication skills and high flexibility.
