Expert in Feminist organizational development

Purpose of the assignment:

Kvinna till Kvinna is looking to engage an expert in feminist organizational development to guide and implement a restructuring process based on feminist principles. The consultant will work closely with the leadership and staff of our partner organization to design a new organizational structure that promotes inclusivity, equity, shared power, and collaboration.

Scope of Work:

The feminist restructuring process will include the following tasks:

1. Organizational Audit: Conduct a thorough assessment of the current organizational structure, policies, culture, and decision-making processes to identify gaps and areas where power imbalances, gender inequality, or exclusion may exist.
2. Feminist Leadership and Decision-Making Models: Propose and implement feminist leadership and decision-making models that prioritize collaboration, shared power, and inclusivity.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

The expert will be expected to deliver a feminist restructuring plan for our local partner, including revised organizational structure, decision-making models, and leadership practices.

Timeline:

The assignment is expected to be completed by the end of December. Key milestones and deadlines will be agreed upon with the selected expert.

Required qualifications:

1. Demonstrated experience in feminist organizational development, restructuring, or consulting.
2. Strong knowledge of feminist principles, gender equality, intersectionality, and social justice.
3. Proven track record of working with NGOs or organizations in feminist leadership, governance, and decision-making processes.
4. Ability to facilitate participatory and inclusive workshops and discussions.
5. Strong understanding of power dynamics, oppression, and systemic inequality within organizations.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams.
