Position Overview 

The Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies and plans. This role requires close coordination with communication personnel and various units to ensure consistent, cohesive, and impactful messaging across all channels. The Communication Officer will also be involved in assessing communication needs, designing targeted messages, and evaluating the effectiveness of communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct market research and audience analysis to inform strategies.

  • Create content for various channels, including social media, websites, and newsletters.

  • Ensure adherence to branding guidelines and consistency in messaging.

  • Represent the organization in various forums.
  • Perform other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills 

Education: University degree in Health Communications, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science, International Development, or other related fields.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in communications, marketing, or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in establishing and implementing communication strategies. Proven track record of working with civil society organizations, research centers, or academic institutions.
