Mental Health Workshop for School Teachers in North Lebanon

INJAZ Lebanon is seeking proposals for the design and facilitation of a mental health workshop that will be provided for 25 school teachers in North Lebanon. The workshop aims to support Lebanese & Syrian school teachers in El Mina with the main goal of improving their mental resilience, creating a positive learning envirnment, and capacitating teachers with life skills that would support them as individuals as well as professionals. 

The proposed workshop will aim to achieve the following objectives:

1. Enhance the mental well-being of teachers to ensure they can give their best on both professional and personal levels.

2. Improve the learning environment by supporting teachers to develop skills and knowledge that help them identify risk factors and symptoms and provide a helping hand to respond to students' needs.

3. Support teachers through the tough current situation to continue in their jobs.

4. Create a positive learning environment that encourages growth and development for both teachers and students.

5. Capacitate teachers with life skills that would support them as individuals in their daily lives.

The program should also include at least one outdoor recreational activity and group therapy sessions through an interactive activity such as psychodrama.
