ABOUT INJAZ LEBANON

INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.

Overview

We are seeking a qualified trainer to conduct a facilitation workshop. The workshop will be 4 days, of 4 hours each. The sessions will be divided over 2 months: Between August and October.

The workshop is designed for 10 Females who will be working with INJAZ under CATALYST as facilitators. The primary objective is to equip them with the needed skills to conduct training sessions for older women on green basics in a simplified manner. The focus will be on developing effective facilitation techniques.

Scope of Work

The selected trainer will be responsible for developing and conducting a comprehensive facilitation workshop aimed at equipping 10 facilitators with the necessary skills to effectively train older women on green basics. The initial sessions will focus on introducing facilitation, enhancing facilitation skills, building confidence, and engaging in interactive activities. Subsequent sessions will cover promoting interactive learning, managing challenging dynamics, and role-playing scenarios. Participants will also learn about feedback and evaluation methods, enhancing synergy and cohesiveness, and practical exercises. The workshop will culminate in exploring advanced facilitation techniques, applying these techniques practically, fostering a mindset of continuous improvement, and developing strategies to sustain engagement and interest in training sessions. The final session will conclude with a wrap-up and discussion of next steps.

Role and Responsibility

  • Develop comprehensive training content focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate professional training sessions (In Eng and Arabic).
  • Provide practical exercises and assignments to allow participants to apply learned concepts in their classes.
  • Offer guidance on creating engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, and handouts.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on the participants' work.
  • Share best practices and resources related to effective training methods and workshop management.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment and encourage active participation and collaboration among participants (facilitators).

Deliverables

In addition to facilitating the training, the selected trainer will be responsible for consolidating the insights, and recommendations, generated during the workshop into one comprehensive report/document:

The report should include the following:

  • Workshop Overview.
  • Participant Profiles.
  • Workshop Objectives.
  • Content Covered.
  • Attendance and Participation.
  • Challenges and Successes.
  • Recommendations.

Qualifications

  1. Proven expertise in training design, development, and delivery, particularly in presentation, facilitation, training management, and content development, with at least 4 years of experience, and previous experience in conducting training of trainers (ToT) programs or similar workshops.
  2. Any recognized certifications in communication, public speaking, or related fields are a plus.
  3. The applicant should have strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to motivate individuals.
  4. Ability to multi-task and to work a flexible or alternative workweek schedule based on project needs.
  5.  Availability to deliver the workshops until the end of October.
  6. In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training methodologies.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  8. Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.

Evaluation Criteria

The service provider will be selected based on:

  1. Relevant Work experience in the field, and portfolio.
  2. Certificate.
  3. Content Outline that you will send (Technical Proposal).
  4. The financial proposal.(Hourly Rate)
