Desired Outcome: Participants who take the self-paced training will be able to understand basic and advanced tenets of sexuality including sex, gender, sexual characteristics, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. They will also be able to understand the difference between each and how they manifest within local and global contexts, including social, cultural, and legal contexts. The online trainings help individuals differentiate these components in a manner that is beneficial for their personal and professional lives. They also allow and facilitate engagement and understanding with queer people and a better understanding of the issues that effect them. These trainings will be offered for LGBTQ individuals and allies and are also designed as an engagement tool with individuals with harmful, erroneous, and/or ignorant assumptions about people with diverse SOGIESCs.

Deliverables:

• Digitize existing workshop content as well as new content where needed, suitable for a self-paced online courses.
• Create a comprehensive and clear set of animations, graphs and audio-visual material.
• Provide monitoring and evaluation tools for the efficiency of each training including and pre and post-tests as well as other tools when and if necessary.
• Implement a learning management system to manage the delivery of educational/Training content.
• Conduct research and focus group discussion to be informed on most efficient practices and learning methods.
• Accompany the learning module creator in the creation of all audio-visual material for the training including addendum materials and trainer’s notes.

Ensure all afore-mentioned workshop content is correctly translated into Arabic through meticulous review of all translations.
