Learning Module Creator –Know Your Rights

Desired Outcome: The purpose of this workshop is to prepare members of the LGBTIQQ community and their allies by clearly explaining and presenting their rights as people living in Lebanon regardless of nationality or any other identified. The workshop aims to explain the Lebanese legal system and the relevant institutions, laws, and procedures that concern LGBTIQ individuals in the penal, labor, housing, and personal status codes as well as any others of relevance to individuals seeking justice, asylum, transition, protection, and other matters pertaining to their safety, security, and dignity. Participants must leave with a strong understanding of their rights and the law in Lebanon as well as how to act when their rights are violated by several state and non-state institutions especially security apparatuses, governmental offices, media outlets, civil society, and the private sector.

Deliverables:

• Create and curate workshop content suitable for full day, 8-hour training to be done in person and/or online.
• Create a comprehensive and clear set of slides, graphs, and audio-visual material to accompany the workshop.
• Provide meticulous presentation notes and/or toolkit for trainers and facilitators including references for materials as well as tips and guidance on how to answer questions.
• Provide a complete and comprehensive addendum materials and further reading for each of the workshop’s concepts to be provided in print and digital format.
• Provide a comprehensive agenda reflecting the content and optimal division of information of the workshop.
• Provide monitoring and evaluation tools for the efficiency of each workshop including and pre and post-tests as well as other tools when and if necessary.
• Provide a clear and comprehensive course description / summary of each workshop to be utilized in promotional material.
• Accompany a graphic designer in the creation of all audio-visual material for the workshop including the power point presentation, addendums, and other materials.

Ensure all afore-mentioned workshop content is correctly translated into Arabic through meticulous review of all translations.
