Call for Full Stack Developer

Basmeh and Zeitooneh is a registered Lebanese organization, committed to serving refugees and vulnerable communities in Lebanon, through four community centers across the country. The organization runs educational, relief, livelihoods, and protection programs, and aims to serve as an inclusive and supportive focal point for the entire community.

B&Z is looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming. Full-stack developers are responsible for developing and designing front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

The Platform is already built with PHP but requires bug fixing and additional features, it requires understanding the code, design, and features in order to develop further

Full-stack developers will be required to see out a project from conception to the final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Full Stack Developer Responsibilities:

• Developing front-end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.
• Testing and evaluating new programs.
• Fixing and improving existing software.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.
• Writing and implementing efficient code.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Platform Description

• User privilege for administrator, trainer, and participants. consistent relation between courses, Sessions, institutes, trainers, participants
• upload and store files as a library system

• store and playing the session video after the session ending with all details related to this session like name, date, participants.

Full Stack Developer Requirements:

• Degree in computer science.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
• Proficiency with server-side languages PHP.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL and SQL.
