Call for Participants - WE THE YOUTH Youth Exchange (Jordan and Germany)

Chabibeh Sporting Club is a sports and youth NGO established in 2002 in Chiah Lebanon.
Since 2008, Chabibeh is active in the European Programme for Youth, Erasmus Plus (previous
Youth in Action) offering Lebanese youth the chance to take part in short- or long-term projects
through partnerships with European and Mediterranean organizations. (For more information

This call is for Lebanese youth aged between 18 and 25 years interested to take part in the “WE
THE YOUTH” youth exchange project under the Erasmus plus programme, organized by
“Pewobe g GmbH” Germany and “Support Youth Leaders” Jordan, with Chabibeh Sporting
Club as a Lebanese partner. 

Pewobe g GmbH Frankfurt is a German NGO working in the fields of living arrangements for
children & adolescents (small-scale institutions); child and youth emergency service; individual
care and socio-educational family help (outpatient assistance), youth social work, day care
centers, family support projects and open child and youth work, mostly in combination with
target group work, social group work, training courses and educational offers. 

Support Youth Leaders is a youth organization based in Amman, Jordan aiming at supporting
and raising the education level of young people from different social groups, helping youth to
achieve their goals, uniting active youth together and creating better conditions for their
experience and knowledge exchange. 

WE THE YOUTH project has  consecutive youth exchanges. The first exchange in Jordan
(25 Mar- 3 Apr)  is designed to raise awareness  about MUN Model United Nations, and to
transfer the full criteria on how to conduct MUN (addressing technical managerial and logistical
needs) to participants, including mock sessions to simulate MUN and indulge participants to
attend an International MUN during the second youth exchange in Germany (23Sept-2Oct),
organized for the exchange so participants can get more familiar with the concept and be fully
prepared to lead the conduction of a full MUN.  

Participants will be from will be from Germany, Egypt Poland, Estonia, Jordan and Lebanon.
The travel costs will be covered according to the rules of the Erasmus Plus programme (please
check the info pack). In addition, living costs will be covered by the project.   

 Who are we looking for?
Chabibeh Sporting Club is looking for 5 Lebanese youth aged 18-25, interested in international 
affairs, to take part in these youth exchanges.

Participants should: 
 Have interest in diplomacy and negotiations
 Have good communicational English skills
 Be youth, students, or youth workers active in the youth field
 Have an active attitude! - Communication & Leadership skills.
 Be willing and able to take part in both youth exchanges, Jordan and Germany 

*Please note that gender representation will be considered, and participants should be available 
to attend both parts in Jordan and Germany.
