INTERSOS is a non-profit humanitarian aid organisation that works to bring assistance to people in danger, victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts. Established in 1992 with support from the Italian Federation of Trade Unions, its actions are based on the values of solidarity, justice, human dignity, equal rights and opportunities for all people and respect for diversity and coexistence, paying particular attention to the most vulnerable and the unprotected.

Geneva Call is a neutral and impartial, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting respect by armed non-State actors (ANSAs) for international humanitarian norms in armed conflict and other situations of violence, in particular those related to the protection of civilians. Geneva Call is currently focusing its efforts on banning the use of anti-personnel mines, protecting children from the effects of armed conflict, prohibiting sexual violence in armed conflict and working towards the elimination of gender discrimination.

Role : Coordinating the successful implementation of the objectives of the regional support unit and ensuring the adequate functioning of its office

The Grants and Finance Manager shall be dedicated to the project full-time. S/he will provide overall technical and administrative leadership in the areas of financial management and grants management for the program. S/he will participate in grants proposal writing, development and reporting. S/he will also provide guidance and practical support to the project coordinators on all matters related to accounts payable, cost allocation, monthly reporting, payroll, budget preparation, grants management contract and subcontract management, and compliance.

LAU’s Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World (IWSAW) is currently searching for a Project Assistant to provide support on its “LGBTQ Youth Platform” project.

This project is funded by the Embassy of the Netherlands for the purpose of empowering LGBTQ youth in Lebanon.

The Project Assistant will support the Project Managers and all relevant parties, including consultants and NGOs, to see the completion of the project in a timely manner.
