Souk El Tayeb is looking for a Communication & Marketing Senior Officer responsible for setting and implementing the overall communication strategy, and promoting the image; the activities
of the organization, across all outlets, including new projects – locally & abroad.

Souk El Tayeb is a social enterprise working on projects to preserve culinary traditions, and rural heritage and promote community development through People empowerment, respect, ownership, and passion for excellence.

I. Main Tasks & responsibilities
a. Promote Souk el Tayeb, develop existing catering projects, and solicit new catering business
● Identify catering business opportunities and provide revenue projection for catering events sales
● Sell on / offsite and abroad catered events
● Find new customers and ensure repeat business
● Establish a strong client base - updated database
● Research the latest catering trends to promote competitive catering services

b. Manage Customer Relations
● Work closely with clients from initial contact through completion of the event confirming all details

Souk El Tayeb is a social enterprise founded in 2004 with the goal of improving the livelihood of small-scale farmers and producers while preserving Lebanese culinary traditions and rural heritage. The Souk El Tayeb family includes various establishments such as The Farmers' Market, Tawlet restaurants, Beit guest homes, Dekenet farmers' store, and Matbakh El Kell, which was created to provide food for those in need after the Beirut port explosion in August 4, 2020.

Organize work stations (bar, dessert, buffet, Dekenet shelves)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Cross-selling / Upselling / Add-on selling: beverages, Dekenet items…
Qualifications

High School Diploma, hospitality certification is a plus
1 year experience preferred
Good command of POS
Good command of English & Arabic, French is a plus
Service oriented – agreeable, helpful
Work well under pressure
