MedUP! is a regional project funded by EU and implemented by Oxfam Italia in six countries. In Lebanon, the project is carried out by Oxfam Lebanon. MedUP! aims to promote an enabling environment in the Southern Mediterranean partner countries for the development of the social entrepreneurship sector as a driver for inclusive growth and job creation

Oxfam in MENA aims to contribute to address the challenges facing local NGOs and CBOs in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan with respect to their effective engagement with the humanitarian coordination structure as one essential element in achieving commitments of localisation.

The training targets mainly the NGO representatives so that they can understand the response architecture in the country, and the different ways organizations can engage in the coordination and advocate for change they desire.

Oxfam is looking to produce a series of videos which embodies 2 subtopics based on perceptions shared by both Lebanese communities and Syrians refugees.

A facilitator’s responsibility is to make the learning sharing experience amongst the Social Entrepreneurs (SEs) and Social Entrepreneurs Support Organizations (SESOs) easier and comprehensive and to facilitate it through adequate planning and coordination with the subject experts, presenting SEs/SESOs and project team.

The EDPU will aim to “to strengthen the ability of the EUTF implementing partners to collectively influence the policy making process and donor funding for Lebanon through policy coordination and evidence generation,” and regularly assess the policy environment to produce policy products targeting key stakeholders and policies impacting livelihoods and economic policy more broadly

The project is to construct wastewater treatment unit consists of ABR and Trickling Filter in one informal settlement in Bouday village (Pcode 036) aiming to decrease the dependency on desludging and provide more sustainable solution in sanitation.

Oxfam is looking to hire a videographer to produce a short film of various scenes and interviews in two municipalities in North Bekaa around perceptions of COVID19.
