Oxfam seeks an external consultant for a final external evaluation of our project Beirut explosion Emergency response: Contribute to a more resilient and sustainable small and social business environment in the aftermath of the Beirut explosion, which is funded by Global Affairs Canada(GAC) and the Humanitarian Coalition.

Oxfam’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Platform seeks to hire a research company/consultant to conduct survey research to identify social norms associated with women’s dress codes and practices and violence and discrimination against women associated with these norms. The purpose is to contribute to understanding of the different forms of violence and discrimination faced by girls and women in the MENA region and thus to better inform and guide Oxfam’s advocacy and influencing activities in the region.

Oxfam is looking for a talented photographer to support in producing a photo-series that highlights how women’s groups in Tripoli have had a positive effect in raising awareness on GBV.

Oxfam in MENA aims to contribute to address the challenges facing local NGOs and CBOs in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan with respect to their effective engagement with the humanitarian coordination structure as one essential element in achieving commitments of localisation.
