The Kayany Foundation was founded in response to the growing needs of Syrian refugee children in Lebanon. We provide aid and education to some of the most vulnerable youth living in informal tented settlements scattered throughout the Bekaa Valley.

In 2013, Kayany Foundation was established and registered as a Lebanese non-governmental organization (#1806) providing free, secular and formal education to Syrian refugee children and youth, of whom mostly reside in informal tented settlements (ITS). The foundation focuses on some of the world’s most disenfranchised children in an effort to save a whole generation at risk. Kayany’s mission involves constructing and operating schools for Syrian refugee children in the Bekaa Valley (Bar Elias – Saadnayel – Majdal Anjar – Meksi).
