Working directly with the project coordinators and managers under the livelihood department, the objective of this position is to ensure high quality implementation of rural development projects (Namely CfW and support to agriculture cooperatives) through coordination between activities and regions.

The engineer will be responsible for the implementation of the rehabilitation and upgrading works in the identified public schools, along with equipping schools and social development centers.
The engineer will assist in the writing of new projects related to cash for work, waste management and/or rehabilitations of facilities, which will incur field visits, studies and coordination with different sectors and project managers in AVSI.

To insure the implementation and follow up of the activities carried out in AVSI centers.

Assisting the finance director in managing, processing, Reporting and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions.

To create and strengthen the network and relationship between AVSI and private sector companies, for implementation of OJT within the MEHE – TVET component of UNI14 project

Life skills sessions

To Coordinate the BLN teams active in the livelihood department

Maintain all accounting information by recording transactions, analyzing General ledger accounts and reconciles all types of accounts.

To assist the education specialist in developing and implementing education activities as per the quality, guidelines and SOPs required.
To ensure education teams at field level better integrate actions with other sectors where possible, and vice versa.

The animators are in charge of developing, delivering and monitoring psycho-social support activities and recreational activities/events for children aged between 3 – 15 years of age in addition to the organization of awareness sessions, community engagement activities.
