• In the framework of AVSI projects in Lebanon, the Inclusion Officer will be in charge of ensuring that AVSI Education projects are inclusive of children with disabilities and that children are adequately supported.
• The Inclusion Officer will be the focal point for the disability inclusion component within AVSI Education projects and will work to ensure that the Non-Formal Education (NFE) activities (CB-ECE, BLN, A-BLN and RS) and activities carried out under the school bridging program (SBP) are inclusive.

Aim of the position:
In the framework of the school bridging project implemented in Beirut and Mount Lebanon governorates by AVSI, the Field officer will be involved in the implementation for AVSI component inside private schools and in the community to promote preparedness and improve transition to the formal education system for vulnerable children in Lebanon.

Responsible for the overall implementation of PROSPECTS in Bekaa Governorate.

Follow up the implementation of an agriculture development project in the Ninewa plains and Duhok Governorate.

Effectively managing AVSI component of the of the Education project ‘’Back to the Future III’’: In the framework of the ‘’Back to the future’’ project implemented in all Lebanon by the consortium of AVSI, TDH IT and WCH, the Project Manager (Area Manager) will be responsible for AVSI component implemented in the South, Nabatiyeh and Bekaa Governorate. The scope of the work aims to promote preparedness and improve retention in the formal education system for vulnerable children and adolescents in Lebanon, as well as upgrading of learning facilities in Public Schools.

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operational finance processes at area level, and for coordinating budget preparation/reviews related to grants, funds, and budgets for all related programs, donors, and departments by ensuring adherence to AVSI’s policies and donor requirements
