​​​​​​​This TOR is intended to recruit a Poultry specialist having the experience and qualifications to develop a competency-based curricula and assessment tools for vulnerable youth (15-25 years old) and deliver the trainings to teachers. 

AVSI Lebanon has received a grant from UNICEF for the implementation of the humanitarian project named “Agriculture Vocational education and training for vulnerable Adolescents and Youth in Lebanon (AVOCADO 6)”. Therefore, it is the intention of AVSI to enter into a Framework Agreement, for the procurement of POULTRY as detailed on Annex A Bid Form.

This TOR is intended to recruit a curriculum development Specialist having the experience and qualification to develop a full online methodology and curricula skeleton (with a focus on pedagogic approaches, moderation techniques and evaluation tools). The curriculum structure will need to follow a competency-based approach that follows international standards namely the International Classification of Occupations (ISCO), the European and National Qualification Framework (EQF and NQF) and the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED).

In the framework of the implementation of the project named: "BACK TO THE FUTURE II - A protective and nurturing environment to increase access to School, inclusion and retention for Children impacted by the Syrian Crisis in Lebanon and vulnerable Lebanese", financed by the EU and implemented by AVSI, Fondazione Terre des Hommes Italia ONLUS (TDH IT) & War Child Holland. The consortium AVSI, Fondazione Terre des Hommes Italia ONLUS (TDH IT) & War Child Holland (WCH) are launching a local open tender for the selection of a supplier to provide tablets for the project implementation.

AVSI is implementing an Education project funded by the Education Cannot Wait Trust Fund called: Connecting to learn: Increasing access to learning and support Syrian refugee and vulnerable Lebanese children impacted by COVID-19.
The project delivers Non-Formal Education activities and Retention Support Services, in addition to upgrading of learning environments. AVSI is currently looking for a consultant to implement a training on Gender Mainstreaming in project design and monitoring in order to make sure that specific gender-responsive actions are properly included at every stage of program
