Supply of Smart Board
Introduction:
Michel Daher Social Foundation (MDSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities in Lebanon. Operating across healthcare, social development, economic and human development, and community development, MDSF promotes resilience, sustainability, and social stability.
Background
The SALAM Project, funded by GIZ and implemented by MDSF, supports economic resilience and social cohesion in Southern Baalbek, West Bekaa, and Central Bekaa. As part of this initiative is the expansion of the Takallam Social Center located at Michel Daher Foundation in Ferzol. Takallam provides a safe and inclusive space for children with learning, speech, and expressive challenges. The center offers therapy, counseling, and psychosocial support for both children and their caregivers.
A key component of the project is the transformation of the center into a vibrant community hub, offering activities such as drama and music therapy, capacity-building sessions, and community gatherings.
Purpose:
The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to invite qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of a Smart Board for the Takallam Center. Takallam is located at Michel Daher Social Foundation, Ferzol, Bekaa, Lebanon. The smart board will be used in all the training that will be conducted in Takallam Center.
Scope of Work
The selected supplier will be responsible for:
- Provision of one Smart Board:
Supply the specified type of the Smart Board as outlined below, ensuring they meet required quality standards.
Provide detailed product specifications, including brand, model, and warranty details.
- Delivery and Logistics:
Manage the timely delivery of the Smart Board to the designated location.
Ensure that the Smart Board is delivered in proper condition, free from damage.
- Assembly/Setup (if applicable):
Assist with the setup or assembly of the Smart Board, if required.
Ensure the Smart Board is fully functional and ready for use upon delivery.
- Quality Assurance and Inspection:
Provide quality assurance certificates or similar documentation for the delivered Smart Board to confirm it meets the outlined specifications.
- Support and Warranty:
Offer post-delivery support for any issues related to the Smart Board.
Provide warranties or service agreements for defects or maintenance needs for a specified period.

- Quantity: 1 Smart Board 75” and 1 Smart Board 86”
- Screen Size: 75” and 86”
- Resolution: 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160 dpi)
- Touch: Multi-touch (at least 10-point touch)
- Audio: Built-in 15W+ stereo speakers
- Connectivity: HDMI, USB, USB-C, VGA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
- Operating System: Android-based, compatible with collaboration apps
- Design: Slim-bezel
- Warranty: Minimum 1-year warranty
- Application: Suitable for meeting rooms, classrooms, and professional environments.
Service Requirements
- Installation: If required, assistance with setup and installation of the Smart Board.
- Training: Provide brief training or guidelines on using the Smart Board for the intended program (if applicable).
- Post-Delivery Support: Provide support contact details and timelines for addressing any issues after delivery.
Submission Validity
Proposals should remain valid for 60 days from the submission deadline.
How to apply
Submission Requirements
Technical Proposal:
- List of smart boards with brand, model, specifications, and warranty details.
- Evidence of compliance with local and international quality standards.
Financial Proposal:
- Breakdown of costs in USD, including unit price, transportation, taxes, and any other charges.
- Payment structure based on milestones (e.g., advance, delivery, completion).
Company Information:
- Company qualifications and relevant experience.
- References from previous clients.
Delivery Terms
- Delivery Location: Michel Daher Social Foundation, Ferzol, Bekaa, Lebanon.
- Delivery Date: The Smart Board must be delivered by May 12 , 2025.
- Packaging: Ensure safe packaging to prevent damage during transportation.
Payment Terms
- Payment will be made via bank transfer or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) within 15 working days after delivery and completion of all deliverables.
- Payments will be processed only after all agreed-upon deliverables are met.
- Tax Note: If no valid Ministry of Finance (MOF) certificate is provided, a 3.4% tax on goods and 8.5% tax on services will apply as per Lebanese tax law.

- Submit your quotation via email to procurement@daherfoundation.org by April 29, 2025.
- The subject line must read: “RFQ for Smart Board – N° MDSF25-RFQ003”.
- Incomplete or incorrectly labeled submissions will not be considered.
Evaluation Criteria
Technical Proposal (Brand, model, specs, warranty):30%
Financial Proposal (Cost-effectiveness, Competitiveness, and value for money): 70%

Confidentiality Statement
All information submitted in response to this RFQ/RFT is confidential and must not be shared with third parties without express written consent from MDSF.
Compliance with Local Laws
Suppliers must comply with all relevant local laws and regulations, including labor, environmental, and safety standards.
Warranty and Guarantee
If applicable, suppliers must provide warranty or guarantee details regarding the products/services offered, including terms and coverage periods.
