Michel Daher Social Foundation:Established in 2014, the objective of the foundation is to reduce migration to urban areas or abroad. The foundation aims to support the livelihood of people living in unprivileged areas by helping them to lead more fruitful lives in Bekaa region.It contributes to rural community development through different means:- Health Centers Management.- Cultural: Training & Orientation Programs.- Social: Collective wedding.- Different Philanthropic and humanitarian activities.

Michel Daher Social Foundation has been at the forefront of promoting energy efficiency in Industrial Facilities, and we are considering extending the successful Energy Efficiency Program to new factories. This program has already brought numerous benefits to the factories that participated, and we believe it can do the same for others. We are considering expanding the program to new factories in the Bekaa, for that, we are exploring the interest of industrialists in this program to proceed.

The Michel Daher Social Foundation is taking part of a consortium led by the Rene Moawad Foundation to implement a new USAID-funded project entitled “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods . The project is expected to start in October 2020 and be implemented over the course of 5 years. The objective of PSL Project is to improve the livelihoods of residents of target municipalities through training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, and marketing and improve and upgrade existing assets in their municipalities.
