Objective 1: Under the supervision of the CP Specialist, provides technical guidance, and direction for effective planning, implementing and monitoring of case management services provided to vulnerable children/adolescents and their families in North Bekaa, Beirut, and Mount Lebanon
Objective 2: Manages and supervises the team of case management supervisors, senior case workers and case workers in the different areas of implementation.
Objective 3: Supports the Case Management supervisors in ensuring the compliance of the CM service with CP and CM standards
Objective 4: Supports the Project/Programme Managers and M&E officers in developing monitoring and reporting mechanisms on a variety of levels e.g. case management formal data collection, qualitative measures for programme development, information for donor reports, etc.
Objective 5: Ensure accuracy of database tools and information by ensuring the compatibility of vulnerabilities and risks.
Objective 6: Supervises TDH-IT’s hotline holders, and ensure appropriate data collection reflected in donor’s reports and tracking sheet.
Objective 7: Conducts regular field visits to monitor implementation of case management activities, identify opportunities and constraints and any adjustments needed including staff training.
Objective 8: Develops effective tools to enhance the quality of the case management services i.e. Cash provision, assessment, re-assessment follows up, etc.
Objective 9: Under the supervision of the CP Specialist, assist in the assessment of the needs of beneficiaries and contribute to the establishment of a referral system.
Objective 10: Ensures the existence of an up-to-date service mapping on a national level and provides the case management team with the needed information on existing social services.
Objective 11: Represent TDH IT in sector meetings, in Case management taskforce- CMTF and CPWG.
Objective 12: Provide the technical guidance to TDH-It’s case management team on information management system and Referral software: RIMS and CPIMS
Objective 13: Knowledgeable on the cash provision in Lebanon at inter-agency level.
Objective 14: Aware of the vulnerability and risk of the different communities and the various contexts of TDH IT areas of interventions.
Objective 15: Participates and supports in case conferences, case meetings and any other technical meeting needed by the team
Objective 16: Manages a team
Participates in the recruitment process of the supervisor, case worker and senior case worker;
Ensures that all team members have an updated TOR and are appraised at least every year;
Follows up on personal activity or development plans;
Handles all the HR issues related to the team.
Objective 17: Co-Lead focal point
Co-Lead focal point for the CP sector in coordination with UNICEF. This include, participating in the CP core group and Inter-agency coordination meetings with all sectors, providing inputs and updates on the CP intervention. Participating to the evaluation of UN Call for proposals from a technical CP perspective.
Actively participating to donor meeting and sector meeting related to the implementation of CP activities in Lebanon in coordination with MoSA, UNICEF as well as other international and national actors
Skills and knowledge:
Significant field experience setting up and managing protection case management systems and services incorporating safe data
Experience in assessment, gender analysis, program development, and evaluation,
Experience in providing training and capacity building on case management programming,
Strong knowledge of PSEA approaches
Excellent inter-personal skills and collaborative working and management style
Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and diplomatic skills
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and networks.
Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and international environment.
And any other objectives seemed relevant to the position and assigned by the manager.
