Recreational Activities Consultant

Objective of the Consultancy

The objective is to engage target groups through innovative recreational methods that inspire learning and encourage positive behavior change. The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing activities such as puppet shows, theater performances, and other participatory events that resonate with the themes and participants' needs.

Key Responsibilities

The consultant will:

1. Design and deliver three interactive events focusing on the themes of violence, personal hygiene, friendship, and bullying.
2. Utilize creative approaches such as puppet shows, theatrical performances, and participatory activities to engage participants effectively.
3. Develop a detailed plan and timeline for the events in coordination with the organization’s team.
4. Ensure all activities are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and tailored to the target audience (youth and women).
5. Provide a report summarizing the activities, participant feedback, and lessons learned.

Deliverables

1. A detailed activity plan for the three events.
2. Successful delivery of the events as per the agreed timeline.
3. A final report, including documentation of activities, evaluation of outcomes, and recommendations for future initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in designing and implementing recreational or educational activities for youth and women.
• Expertise in using creative methods such as puppet shows, theater, and participatory approaches.
• Strong understanding of themes such as violence prevention, personal hygiene, friendship, and bullying.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
