TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Legal trainer is expected to provide the following deliverables:

• Develop and deliver training content on various legal topics, including: legal structures for micro-enterprises, registration processes and administrative obligations, basic insurance requirements for small businesses, etc.
• Facilitate interactive discussions to help participants choose appropriate legal structures based on their business needs and financial situation.
• Provide case studies of successful micro-enterprises and guide participants through hands-on workshops.
• Lead practical exercises, such as registration simulations and insurance application scenarios, to ensure participants gain real-world skills.
• Adapt training materials to meet the specific needs of vulnerable women and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to participants throughout the program.
• Coordinate with program managers to report on session outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide information on other legal issues relevant to the beneficiaries, such as access to justice, legal aid, and protection against gender-based violence.
• Assist beneficiaries in understanding their legal rights and options for recourse in case of violations.

   

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in delivering training, with strong facilitation skills.
• Ability to lead discussions and foster group interaction.
• Empathy and patience to work with vulnerable participants and address their unique challenges.
• Strong ability to analyze and address community needs and challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills to guide participants in choosing practical legal solutions
• Proficient in both Arabic and English, with English being essential for reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements and administrative management processes for small businesses.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A degree in law or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in legal training, business consulting, or entrepreneurship support programs.
• Prior experience working with vulnerable populations or in community-based programs is a plus.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience conducting interactive workshops and delivering content to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal skills in both languages.
• Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
• Knowledge and experience in women's rights and gender equality issues.
