What you will do
Main Mission:
Assisting Shelter Officer / Technical Assistant in conducting field and phone assessments, distribution and activities related to Shelter works and services.
Specific tasks:
- Contact beneficiaries to gather information on shelter needs, conditions, and other relevant data.
- Support the Shelter Technical Assistant & Officer in the day-to-day activities.
- Assist the shelter team in conducting on-site assessments of shelters, including verification of conditions and identifying urgent needs.
- Accurately record and report assessment findings, ensuring the information is complete and organized.
- Ensure accurate data collection, following the assessment tools provided.
- Conduct phone calls with beneficiaries for data collection when needed.
- Attend and support all kinds of assessments/distributions.
- Assist with the Data entry and phone calls when needed.
- Ensure all collected data is properly documented, filed, and submitted to the relevant teams.
- Provide daily/weekly reports, as requested
Program Monitoring:
- Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of activities by collecting appropriate data from selected beneficiaries, using pre-made questionnaires
- Conduct site visits to supervise and/or monitor progress and quality, when needed
- Contribute to data entry, when needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in field work and community mobilization
- Computer skills (especially Excel)
- Strength in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility and willingness to change work practices and hours, and capability to work in insecure environment
- Available to travel in Beirut and Mount Lebanon.
