These camps require effective management to ensure access to basic services, safety, and dignity for the displaced. The Emergency Site Management Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day operations within camps or informal settlements, ensuring the protection and welfare of internally displaced persons (IDPs) or refugees, in addition to also fostering resilience among displaced populations.
