I. Responsibilities & Duties of Teacher:

1. Data Entry, Outreach and Documents Handling:

Entering data within set timeframes through ensuring completeness and accuracy

Handling the required personal profiles and documents of students

Completing daily preparation and documentation such as lesson plans and attendance sheets for morning and afternoon shifts

Reaching the target of children throughout the cycles by conducting field visits

2. Assess Students’ Needs:

Conduct individualized assessments to identify students’ learning challenges and areas of improvement.

Collaborate with caregivers to gather insights into students’ academic progress and needs

3. Develop Customized Plans:

Design  plans for each student, considering their specific learning requirements and goals

Create engaging and age-appropriate learning materials to support activities

4. Monitoring and Evaluating Progress:

Continuously track and evaluate students’ progress adjusting plans as needed to ensure measurable improvement.

Maintain detailed records of each student’s performance and development.

5. Foster a supportive Learning Environment:

Build a positive and encouraging relationship with students to boost their self-esteem and motivation

Create a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking help

Insert active learning techniques in the lesson plan and classroom activities

Reflection and Report-Writing:

Updating the project coordinator with the daily implementation and challenges if any.

Submitting a weekly and monthly reports to the project coordinator

Safety and Protection:

Presenting complete commitment to Nabaa’s PSEA, safeguarding and anti-harassment policies as well as code of conduct

Guaranteeing children’s safety and security on all levels

II. EDUCATION/ TRAININGS/ CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree in Education 

2. EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of one year of experience in teaching

3. COMPETENCIES / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES (as needed for performing selected tasks)

Strong organizational and planning skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

4. TECHNICAL SKILLS (as needed for performing selected tasks)

Understanding of educational teachniques and tools  

Computer literacy in outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet
